NAVEEN R HEGDE
Naveen hails from the renowned Ayur-Vaidya family of Sagar, Karnataka. He was initially trained in Bharatanatyam under Guru Gopal at his hometown Sagar where he completed his senior exams in Bharathanatyam. In 2014 Naveen completed his graduate concert in Bharathanatyam under the guidance of Smt. Nirupama Rajendra and Shri. T. D. Rajendra at Abhinava Dance School, Bangalore.
His pursuit in Bharatanatyam, Kathak & Margi Karanas of Natyashastra and performances of lead roles in the acclaimed productions of ADC has made him a versatile artist. As a principal dancer of ADC he has performed in the US, UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong and China. As a soloist, he has given several successful concerts at prestigious platforms across India. He is the winner of the Kathak contest regional level conducted by Pundit Birju Maharaj’s Kalasharam.
Naveen holds degree in Bharathanatyam from SASTRA University under the guidance of renowned Guru.Dr.Padmasubramaniam. He is a graded artist of regional television DD Bangalore. He currently works as a faculty member for Bharathanatyam & also works on lighting, artwork design & editing at Abhinava.
