It has now been a common trend that the new Directors are trying out their luck with their entry into the Kannada Film Industry. Also it has been a good development where many of them have been getting recognition by delivering extraordinary cinemas. And the new entrant into such list of a good development is Dhanu Gowda. And it is quite special that this director is way too young! His directorial debut is “666”.
By entering the movie industry as an editorial artist thru the movie ‘Alone’, Dhanu also worked in a movie called ‘Dress code’. Gradually after working as a make up man for quite some TV serials, he recently gained experience as an editorial artist and associate director through the movie ‘Raspuri’.
Though he studied Diploma at the P.E.S. college in Bangalore, Dhanu Gowda had developed a deep ambition to grow in the Film Industry. As his family also supported his ambition, he did not delay. Adapting a real story that had occurred 80 years back at his native place, Ramanagara, he developed the story-screenplay and apart from directing he himself became the hero of the movie and has now completed 95% of the movie successfully.
“666” being the first movie under the Young Music Director Chinmaya M. Rao’s banner, “Chinmaya Rao Productions”, Dhanu Gowda’s family has backed his efforts by being producers for this movie. Industrialist Rajesh Gowda K. has also being extending his support for this project. As the Music Director, Chinmay Rao has experiment many new tunes to suit the story plot of the movie. Famous audio industry of South India, Lahari, has released the audio CD under their banner.
